WE share the widely held belief that our rights as American citizen sportsmen
and women have been, and are being seriously eroded by lawmakers and bureaucrats on every level of government.
As individuals, there is little we can do to halt this societal trend, or to repeal
onerous laws already in place. As is the case in all issues involving the political system, our primary
strength is in our numbers, both human and economic.
The best and only real method to effect change in the mindset of
those who enact our local, state and national laws, is to send forth a veritable army of lobbyists and activists to express
the viewpoints of and make the arguments for the whole body of people who oppose restrictive firearms laws.
On a national level, the National Rifle Association and the Gun Owners of America
are the largest, most active and most powerful organizations working on behalf of all of us who consider our 2nd Amendment
rights to be inherent and inviolable.
As we know, the State of California, and many of it's counties and municipalities, have
some of the most restrictive firearms laws in the nation. The California Rifle and Pistol Association, NRA and Gun
Owners of California work at all levels to stem the tide of unreasonable and severely restrictive statutes,
codes and ordinances.
