FEE: $ 6.00 per round.

 

Start Time:  9:00 AM.  Registered shooters only.

 

Age Groups: Adult (18 and over); *Young Shooter (12-17)

                     *Parent must be present   

           

Minimum Age:  12;  

 

Firearms: Center Fire rifles only; NO .50BMG or larger

 

Sights: Any Scope of any magnification, except Classic Military; No lasers permitted.

 

Triggers:  No pull restrictions;  Release triggers are prohibited.

 

Targets: I.B.S. Hunter 6-Bull

 

Distance: 100 Yards

 

Position: Seated; Bench Rest

 

Rests: Must be a 2-piece rest consisting of sand bags front and rear, or a front rest and sandbags. Front and rear rests may not be connected together; Rests may not be attached to the bench or rifle in any way. No “Lead-Sleds” or similar permitted. All guns must be fired from the shoulder.

 

CLASSES:

           

Factory: Any mass produced, repeating action, hunting style rifle with no modifications except for the scope. Maximum muzzle diameter of 0.730”. Maximum weight of 9.0 Lbs.

 

Modified Varmint: Any mass-produced action, with any modifications to trigger, chamber, scope, barrel, O.E.M. factory stock with modifications, fore-end no wider than 3.0 inches.  Maximum weight of 14.0 Lbs unloaded.

 

Unlimited: Any action, chamber, trigger, barrel, stock, break, compensator. No weight restriction.

 

Factory Classic Military: Any mass-produced, as-issued rifle, 6.5mm or larger, with open sights, as originally used by the military forces of any nation.

 

Course of Fire: Match will consist of one (1)  preparation period and one timed 15.00 minute  period during which all sighting and shooting for score must take place. Shooters will place no more than 2 shots in each of 5 individual target bulls. Shooters may fire as many rounds at “sighter” bull as they feel necessary during match period.

 

Scoring:  By shots placed in numbered scoring areas on each target.  Shots which break the line between scoring circles will be scored at the higher value.  Every bullet hole over 2 in a bull will reduce score by highest value hit.  Firing after cease-fire command will reduce score by highest value hit. Every hole over 10 in any area of the target other than the sighter bull area will reduce the score by the highest value hit. Targets shall be scored on the stand with shooters present.  Decision of the judge(s) is final and not subject to appeal.

 

Prizes: Will be awarded to the day’s highest scoring shooters in each class. A minimum of 2 (two) shooters must compete in each class for prizes to be awarded.

  

General:

 

Post and retrieve your own targets. Targets will remain with the judge(s) until match is over.

 

Only Four shooters on the line at a time. You may have a coach and/or spotting scope.

 

Shooters may enter as many rounds as desired.

 

Prizes will be awarded at conclusion of all matches, to the highest single round scores of the day in each class. At least two shooters must compete in each class for a prize to be awarded.

 

Safety and Procedures:

 

NRA Safety Rules and Procedures shall apply.

 

Standard shooting range courtesies and protocols shall be observed.

 

Decisions of the LGC Range Officer are final.
